On Monday, May 7th, the Germantown Public Library went live with Evergreen on the Consortium of Ohio Libraries (COOL) shared catalog.

Evergreen, the open source ILS originally developed by PINES (Public Information Network for Electronic Services) for the Georgia Public Library Service, is used by over 1,000 libraries across 31 states, 4 countries, and 8 Canadian provinces. This count only includes reported installations, as anybody is free to download, install and try it out for their library.

Please welcome OHIONET's newest member, Cardington-Lincoln Public Library.

The Cardington-Lincoln Public library is located in western Morrow County and serves the 7,500 residents within the Cardington-Lincoln school district. They are participating in a new shared catalog consortium called COOL (Consortium of Ohio Libraries), which is using the Evergreen ILS, and will be hosted by OHIONET.

South Pointe Hospital is one of nine Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals and has been serving southeast Cleveland since 1957. The hospital is dually accredited by the Joint Commission and the American Osteopathic Association; it is one of the largest osteopathic teaching hospitals in the state.
