Carrie L. Waibel Joins OHIONET as New Electronic Resources Coordinator
Michael P. Butler, Executive Director of OHIONET, and Christine Morris, Director of Member Services, are pleased to announce the selection of Carrie L. Waibel as Electronic Resources Coordinator. Waibel will negotiate eResources with library vendors on behalf of OHIONET members, specifically for public and K-12 libraries.
“I am excited to be part of OHIONET, and I look forward to interacting with so many great libraries,” says Waibel.
Morris continues, “Carrie brings to us a unique mix of skills from her experience in public libraries and her studies in digital librarianship. We are pleased to have her join the OHIONET team, and we look forward to her working with our members to build their capacity and collections.”
Waibel holds a Master of Library and Information Science as well as an Advanced Certification in Digital Libraries from Syracuse University. She had previously worked in an administrative capacity at Bexley Public Library and Westerville Public Library.
