Continuing Education Credit

OHIONET offers continuing education credit for all current workshops that meet the criteria of the Ohio Public Librarian Certification program sponsored by the Ohio Library Council.

This program recognizes librarians who have completed the process to become a Certified Public Librarian in the State of Ohio. OHIONET workshops carry continuing education contact hours that meet requirements for renewal of the certificate.

OHIONET workshop participants receive certificates of completion that include the contact hours received for the session. A contact hour is sixty minutes of continuous participation in a learning activity. The OHIONET Training Calendar workshop descriptions contain contact hour information.
