Membership in OHIONET is open to any academic, public, school, or special library. Depending on the services that you use, OHIONET offers two levels of membership: Member and Premium. OHIONET membership automatically renews on July 1 of each year. If you join during the fiscal year, the membership fee is prorated based on the month you join.
The Member level of membership includes:

Access to OHIONET products and services at member rates

Electronic resources - over 1,500 titles with more than 50 vendors

Discounted library equipment and supplies from our 30+ vendor relationships

Continuing education on topics like cataloging, resource sharing, and the latest library trends

Access to MyAccount, which includes the ability to reprint invoices and statements and to generate reports on your purchase history.

Eligibility to run for OHIONET's Board of Trustees and Committees.

The option to reserve one of OHIONET's four meeting rooms including the PC lab, free of charge.
The Premium level of membership includes:

All benefits available at Member level.

Greater discounts on library supplies and equipment.

High-touch customer service and member support in interactions with OCLC and electronic resource and equipment vendors.

The ability to put money on multiple deposit accounts.

Prepayment discounts for money on account at OHIONET.

Free online training sessions for premium members with topics that include library technology trends, reference skills, information management, and more!
OHIONET group memberships are also available to library consortia. OHIONET staff is always available to discuss cooperative partnerships with your group.
