Event Sponsorship Guidelines

OHIONET is pleased to co-sponsor events planned by other library organizations.
Event sponsorship must meet the goals of the OHIONET Strategic Plan. Sponsorship is most likely to occur
in these circumstances.
- OHIONET staff has the opportunity to contribute to the planning process and to present/facilitate a session at the event.
- The event is open to a multi-type audience that includes academic, public, school, and special libraries.
- The organization requesting sponsorship of the event is a library, library organization, or an accredited school
or institution of higher learning.
- The event offers quality content that contributes to the professional development of Ohio library staff.
- The event supports the value of inclusion and diversity in libraries.
In return for sponsorship, OHIONET expects to receive recognition in promotional materials and onsite programs
as well as complementary registration to the event for selected staff members. Requests for sponsorship/collaboration
should be sent to Carol Verny, Director of Library & Member Services, (cverny@ohionet.org)
at 614-486-2966, ext. 33.
