The registration deadline for any OHIONET workshop is one week prior to the date of the workshop. Registrations received after the deadline will be accepted as space permits and must be confirmed by calling the OHIONET office.
OHIONET sends two email confirmations of your workshop registration. The first confirmation is sent immediately upon completion of the online registration form. It contains all registration information (except credit card numbers) and a confirmation number that you can use to check registration. Please keep your confirmation email until after the workshop is complete. The second email confirmation contains registration information and directions to the workshop location and is sent approximately one week prior to the workshop date. If you do not receive a confirmation email, call OHIONET to confirm that you are registered.
Morning refreshments are provided at all OHIONET workshops, but registrants are on their own for lunch, unless the workshop description indicates otherwise.
Please call us as early as possible if you are not able to attend a workshop for which you have registered. In cases where enrollment is limited, we are then able to add another person to the workshop. There is no penalty for cancellation of registration 72 business hours or more (excluding weekends) prior to a workshop. Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice or failure to attend a workshop will result in a charge of the full workshop fee. If illness or emergency prevents you from attending, please ask someone from your library to notify OHIONET or to attend in your place. Please inform OHIONET of the substitute's name prior to the workshop. In the event of inclement weather, the decision to cancel a workshop will be made (if possible) by noon the day before the workshop and all registrants will be notified. If in doubt, please call OHIONET at 614-486-2966.
OHIONET may cancel workshops due to lack of registrants. If a workshop is cancelled, you will be notified at least five days in advance. Every attempt will be made to reschedule the class.
Non-OHIONET Members must prepay to attend workshops. Payment can be made by credit card online or by sending an institutional purchase order or check to OHIONET prior to the workshop.
