Michael Dziabiak Joins OhioNET as Library Systems Coordinator

We are pleased to announce the recent hiring of Michael Dziabiak as OhioNET’s Library Systems Coordinator. As Library Systems Coordinator, Michael will help support the Consortium of Ohio Libraries (COOL) through maintenance of Evergreen, the consortium’s integrated library system (ILS) and its holdings. Michael comes to us from the University of Findlay where he was the Cataloging and Metadata Librarian. Michael has been a library cataloger in both public and academic libraries. Prior to becoming a librarian, he was a research assistant and media production specialist for the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.

Michael holds a Master of Library and Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies both from the University of Pittsburgh. Michael is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Security and Analytics and is expected to graduate in 2021. In his free time, Michael enjoys lampworking (making glass marbles, beads, and pendants using a tabletop torch), kiln-forming glass, and hiking. He resides in Findlay with his wife and son.

If you happen to be in our office, please stop by Michael’s desk and ask for an introduction. We know Michael would like to meet you and learn more about your organization.
