Assessment, impact, evaluation, measures, metrics....
No matter what you may call it, data-wrangling skills are fast becoming in-demand in the library world. Whether your responsibilities find you teaching & helping patrons, designing programs, building collections or managing resource and staffing allocations, chances are that you have been (or soon will be) asked to participate in some kind of data-related project. And, for most of us, these topics fall squarely into the "they didn't teach me this in library school" column, right?
We'll be kicking off our day with some words of wisdom from Beverly Cain, State Librarian of Ohio, followed by a slate of breakout sessions featuring your fellow librarians, hailing from K12, public and academic institutions all across Ohio.
WHEN: Friday, July 17th, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
WHERE: Holiday Inn-Worthington (7007 N. High St., Columbus, OH)
