In their role as community hubs, libraries are always looking for ways to let folks know about the events and services they provide.  Many of us spend a lot of time and money to maintain public event calendars, post to social media, send out newsletters, email patrons and more to help get the word out. Learn how you can get the most out of those investments with a new, community-based event aggregator, Burbio ( Free to schools, libraries, government agencies, and non-profits, Burbio partners with institutions to automatically pull existing event data, send reminders and updates, and let users explore all kinds of events in one place—through both web-based and app-based interfaces.  Featuring an overview and demonstration, this session will also include a panel of OhioNET members who have started working with Burbio and plenty of time for questions.
