Libraries Connect Ohio—a partnership among OPLIN, OhioLINK, INFOhio, and the State Library of Ohio—works to provide access to e-resource content to all Ohioans. This session features an overview of the variety of business-focused resources available to libraries across the state. Special attention will be given to the newest content-the Small Business Reference Center. Learn about these tools that can help you help your community grow. This webinar is freely available to anyone working in Ohio libraries and will be led by long-time EBSCO trainer, Joe Ceterski, with additional insights and real-life examples provided by Megan Sheeran of Upper Arlington Public Library.

Attendees to this session will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the content of each business-related database
  • Explore ways to efficiently search each
  • Compare and contrast the uses, coverage, and limitations of each

Presenter Name Joe Ceterski (EBSCO) and Megan Sheeran (Upper Arlington Public Library)
Presenter Background

Joe Ceterski began his career at EBSCO in 2005, delivering online training for EBSCO Information Services. He is now a Senior Training Specialist, covering the Northeastern United States and Canada, providing online and onsite training for eBooks, EBSCOhost, EDS, and other EBSCO database services. Joe is a librarian and received his Master's Degree in library science from the University at Albany. He has more than 20 years of library experience, and has worked in academic libraries; as a special librarian in Science and Engineering libraries; and as a trainer for EBSCO and Nylink, a New York State library consortium.



 



Megan Sheeran is a Reference Librarian at the Upper Arlington Public Library. She received her MLIS degree from Kent State University. She enjoys tricky research questions, teaching patrons new search strategies, and presenting about online privacy.
