Exploring Our Statewide Resources: Chilton Library

Registration is closed for this event

Chilton reference manuals are often some of the most heavily used physical resources by patrons of libraries that hold them. For those that don’t have the space to store shelf after shelf of thick hardback books, there’s now an online solution that’s available at every library across the state of Ohio. Chilton Library has everything you could want to know about maintenance and repair procedures for thousands of makes, models, and years. Learn how to help folks navigate the site to find the details they need from specification tables to troubleshooting guides to how-to videos. Led by Amber Winters (Gale-Cengage) and Chris Mills (Huron County Community Library), this session will give an overview and demonstration of this database, including real-life reference examples and ideas for programming and promotion.

This is a FREE webinar, open to all Ohio librarians at no charge.
