Exploring our Statewide Resources: Home Improvement Reference Center

Registration is closed for this event

Spring is coming and with it the chance to start on outdoor projects. Help your patrons start planning by learning more about the Home Improvement Reference Center—a database of how-to-information and instructions for a variety of home improvement and repair projects.  Whether folks need to fix a specific problem, want to know how to maintain their systems, or hope to remodel their home (inside or out), this database has everything they need to get started.  In this freely available webinar, co-sponsored by OPLIN, attendees will have the chance to explore this unique resource that is available in libraries all across the state. Led by Jason High (EBSCO) and Kim Bishop (Dayton Metro Library), this session will give an overview and demonstration of this database, including real-life reference examples and ideas for programming and promotion.

Remember--this is a FREE webinar, open to all individuals working in Ohio libraries.
