Product Demo: Prenda Code Club

EBSCO has developed a new partnership with Prenda Code Club - the first coding eResource designed with libraries in mind. Kids ages 8 - 18 will enjoy the gamified learning experience while building meaningful and useful skills that will support them for a lifetime. More than just software, Prenda provides training and support so librarians can start their own programs or clubs regardless of coding knowledge or familiarity! Prenda Code Club includes:

  • 280+ coding tutorials and activities to teach coding concepts such as "Code a Snowman," "The Ultimate Fangirl Website," and "Animate Your Name." Coders build real-world portfolios as they go!
  • 25+ coding portfolio projects where coders build reach websites, video games, apps, animations, and programs.
  • 13+ coding languages, platforms, and devices including Scratch, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, Sphero, Raspberry PI, and more.

Join us on Wednesday, May 5, as Luke Miller, Head of Prenda Code Club, leads an exploration of the Prenda platform and support tools. There is no fee for this event, but we do ask that you register in advance.
