But, Do I Have to Cook?: Summer Food Service Q&A with Team Vittles

Registration is closed for this event

Food insecurity is a problem for many Ohioans—more than meets the eye in most communities. A dedicated group of library staff members—Team Vittles—has been working together to better understand the issues surrounding food security and to gather resources to help libraries across the state find ways to help fight hunger in their communities. What they’ve discovered is that there are lots of ways you can get involved—and none of them require cooking! Learn about the steps you need to take to help connect children and teens with healthy food when school is out, whether by becoming a Summer Food Service Program site or publicizing and collaborating with existing sites in your area. Join us for an informal, panel-style presentation with members of Team Vittles and some of their collaborators. Bring your questions, your stories, your ideas, and learn how we can all help feed hungry folks in our communities.

Remember--this is a FREE webinar, open to all individuals working in Ohio libraries.
