Exploring Our Statewide Resources: Quick Research Reference Sources

Registration is closed for this event

As the new academic year gets started, library staff members working in all kinds of communities will find themselves coping with the annual onslaught of requests for help starting a research project or paper. Luckily every library across the state has access to a set of research databases thanks to Libraries Connect Ohio.  Presented in partnership with OPLIN, this freely available webinar will introduce attendees to three great resources that can help: Biography Reference Bank, Literary Reference Center, and Science Reference Center. Each of these resources provides a broad spectrum of information within their topic area and can be an excellent tool to get patrons started on their research journeys.

Attendees to this session will have the opportunity to

  • Get an overview of each resource
  • Review real-life reference scenarios
  • Discuss opportunities to promote or use in programming
Remember--this is a FREE webinar, open to all individuals working in Ohio libraries.
