Required Qualifications

The position requires a Masters in Library Science, Information Science or equivalent. Recent library school graduates are encouraged to apply.

Desired Qualifications

Applicants should have an understanding of learning management systems, library service platforms, discovery platforms, institutional repositories, and digital asset management systems. LITS staff at Allegheny are dynamic, adaptable, multifaceted individuals who enjoy learning new skills, collaborating with team members, and tackling complex problems. Candidates must have excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and listening skills. Applicants with the ability to identify and apply best practices through the lens of institutional need and culture are desired.
