About this Job
The University Libraries is seeking a self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented individual to join its Finance and Administration team The Administrative Coordinator will report to the Director of Finance and Administration for the University Libraries and will be responsible for providing a wide range of skilled and efficient administrative and executive support for the Dean and senior administration, including managing the Dean’s calendar and assuring that the Dean remains on schedule.
This position will exercise a high degree of discretion and judgment and will work independently in leading the administrative support team in the office of the Dean of Libraries. This position requires a person with the talent, strength, and skills to become well versed in the business of the office, requiring the development of knowledge and an awareness of programs and critical issues to assist in the anticipation of needs, identification of potential problems and pitfalls, consideration of implications, evaluation of priorities, and gathering of relevant information.

Salary
$20.673/hr minimum
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 3 years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative support role; equivalent education/ experience will be considered.
Excellent customer service, listening, and oral and written communication skills.
Outgoing, proactive, and collaborative with the ability to prioritize.
Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of office operations, administrative support functions, and human resources.
Ability to embrace new ideas, learn new technology, and adapt to change.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in an Academic office setting.
Project coordination experience.
Ability to multi-task and work independently within established procedures.
