  • 2 years’ experience in a testing assessment environment

The University of Akron seeks a motivated, enthusiastic professional for a full-time position as Testing Assistant in the Computer Based Assessment & Evaluation (CBAE) department of Student Affairs.

Under direction of the Manager of CBAE, the successful candidate will coordinate day-to-day operations of testing labs by enforcing lab policies and procedures, hiring and training student workers, and ensuring equipment is functional. The successful candidate will have exemplary customer service and human relation skills to introduce new users to the lab and accommodate user needs in the lab. The successful candidate will administer the course and placement assessment testing software, registering new users, troubleshooting the software, providing reports, and ensuring efficient placement assessment testing service to faculty and students.
