Monday and Wednesday 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 12:45 p.m.-9 p.m., alternating Fridays and Saturdays, some Sundays. Schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the library. Must be available for some evening and weekend hours.

MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program required, knowledge of youth literature and popular culture, and experience selecting materials for youth preferred.


Euclid Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and service-oriented librarian to join the Youth Services staff.  The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently, and have strong knowledge of children’s materials.

Answer reference questions, assist patrons with the use of computers and equipment, purchase for and manage the juvenile AV collections (includes DVDs/Blu-rays, audiobooks, CDs, Playaway products, video games and eBooks), plan and present programs for the public, and serve as Senior-in-Charge of the Library evenings and weekends in the absence of the manager.
