Required Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited school.
• Progressively responsible experience in the area of collection management and analysis.
• Successful supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated understanding and appreciation of diversity and the importance of inclusion as shown by a commitment to apply and incorporate the differences, complexities, and opportunities that diversity brings to an organization.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to data-informed decision-making processes.
• Demonstrated experience with tools and applications used in data gathering, manipulation, remediation, normalization, analysis, and visualization.
Desired Qualifications
• Minimum of one year experience in academic research libraries.
• Familiarity with trends in scholarly communication.
• Experience leading diverse teams and fostering collaborative relationships.
• Experience working in a consortial environment.
• Experience working in a unionized environment.
