About this Job

Grant CPL is seeking to hire a full-time Instruction Coordinator.

This position will work primarily with grades 6-12, and focus on developing library and literacy skills. The preferred candidate will be able to promote library resources and services, and instruct students, teachers, and parents on how to access and use library resources and services. .

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- HS/JR High student and faculty liaison
- Library services instruction
-- Library catalog
-- Online databases
-- Reference materials
-- Locating/browsing materials on the shelves
- Information Literacy
-- Authority of author, publication, source
-- Searching multiple sources
-- Popular vs scholarly sources
-- Citation styles
-- Research strategies
- Workplace and soft skills programming
- Summer Reading Program programming for teens
- Book Club(s)

Salary

Begins at $32,200.00

Required Qualifications

Education: BA or BS minimum.
Experience: Previous library and/or instruction experience preferred
Salary: Commensurate with work and education, annual salary begins at $32,200.00
Job Type: Full time
Hours: Includes evenings and weekends.
