Requirements: 

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Considerable experience in project planning required. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Master's Degree (preferably MLIS or MPH or working toward a MLIS or MPH,or hours in these fields), or an equivalent combination of education and experience desired. Strong oral and written communication skills and presenting to large groups; project management skills; experience completing program related reports, maintaining statistics and analyzing program performance; prior community engagement experience; experience working in a library setting desired. Occasionally work some evenings and weekend hours; hold valid Ohio driver's license.

Duties: 

Project Coordinator (Job Opening 451966) - The Health Sciences Library is seeking a highly motivated, innovative part time (50%) Project Coordinator with a zest for engaging organizations and building community partnerships. As a member of a grant-funded initiative, the Coordinator will work with principal investigators, key personnel, and partners to make and maintain community connections.  This Coordinator will plan regular meetings with grant team and external partners, coordinate calendars, organize, host, and staff events and activities.  The Coordinator will recruit other staff and partner representatives for events, and organize event materials.  Position will assist with communications and marketing of events and programs to include social media, print posters, flyers, newsletter or newspaper postings, mailings, website banners and news postings.  Position assists with data gathering associated with meeting grant assessment and reporting requirements.  As a member of the Library for Health Information staff, this position will provide resources and information to patients, visitors, and the Central Ohio community, attend staff meetings, and provide other services and duties as assigned.
