Resource Planning Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in project planning; considerable experience developing and managing data from multiple sources for conducting data analysis; advanced skills using Excel; excellent communication skills; demonstrated problem solving skills. Successful candidates will be detail oriented, able to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, be flexible, able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Experience with data analysis or visualization tools, especially Tableau or OpenRefine; familiarity with Qualtrics or similar survey software; knowledge of library data and metadata standards such as COUNTER, KBART, and MARC; experience with an academic or research library environment or an MLS from an ALA accredited program.
The Service & Resource Data Coordinator works with OhioLINK and OH-TECH staff to collect, analyze, and report relevant data related to OhioLINK services. The Coordinator will develop processes for capturing, analyzing, and reporting usage data, collections data, and other data in both OhioLINK and third party services and applications. This includes eTutoring platforms, the Electronic Journal Center, journal publisher entitlements and cost per use analyses, to broadly support access, assessment, and decision-making for the OhioLINK consortium. The Service & Resource Data Coordinator works with the OhioLINK department staff and staff at member institutions to collect and integrate data from multiple sources, such as surveys, OhioLINK technology systems, library management systems, and library vendor content platforms. The Service & Resource Data Coordinator is adept at data visualizations and representations, report-writing, and the development of a variety of data communications.
