Teaching & Research Analyst (Term Position)

With guidance from the Health Sciences Library’s Research and Education department leadership and faculty/staff librarians,

-Builds knowledge around NIH data management and sharing policy, funder mandates, and research impact to triage requests and provide consultations to faculty, staff, and students
-Reviews data management and sharing plans submitted for feedback under librarian guidance
-Develops and maintains learning materials, including online guides and videos, related to data management and sharing and other research support activities; teaches educational workshops as appropriate.
-Collaborates with the Research and Education department on various research support projects
-Collaborates with University Libraries librarians and staff as appropriate for providing research support services.
-Participates in library committees or strategic working groups as well as campus research support groups as appropriate.

$50,000/year

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Comfort, curiosity, and willingness to work with scientific information that may be unfamiliar. Enthusiasm and comfort for learning new concepts.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
