Creative Commons licenses come in a variety of forms which enable creators to specify the methods and means by which their otherwise copyrighted work can be shared, used, or modified.
Participants in this webinar will learn about the history of these licenses, explore the various types, and discuss how to search for (and appropriately use) materials published under each.

Carla Myers serves as Principal Librarian, Coordinator of Scholarly Communication for Miami University Libraries. Her professional presentations and publications focus on fair use, copyright in the classroom, and library copyright issues. She has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Akron and a Masters in Library and Information Science from Kent State University.
