The Power of Our Consortium 

Throughout my 20 years working in the Ohio library community, one thing has been clear since the beginning — we are stronger together. The relationships I forged in this community over the years have given me a long list of friends and colleagues who have supported me, and my home library organizations, in countless ways.

As I near my first anniversary of service at OhioNet, my gratitude for the Ohio library community has only grown…along with my appreciation for the consortium model. As Ohio’s only statewide multi-type library consortium, my OhioNet colleagues and I are excited to put our strategic plan into action to help our member libraries thrive during challenging times.

In this edition of our newsletter, we’re excited to share how those strategic priorities are taking shape — starting with expanded technology services designed to meet the evolving needs of OhioNet members.
