New OhioNet Partnership with WhoFi – WiFi Analytics for Public Libraries

OhioNet is excited to announce a new partnership with WhoFi to provide WiFi Analytics to Ohio public libraries. This resource is available to all OhioNet members; the subscription period will begin on January 1, 2026, just as the State Library of Ohio’s contract expires, ensuring a seamless transition for interested libraries.

Important details to note —

1. This partnership is only for WiFi Analytics – other resources, such as the Community Calendar, Spaces and Question Sets will not be offered through OhioNet. Those additional resources will still be offered by the State Library of Ohio through the end of the fiscal year.
2. OhioNet has negotiated a “more the merrier” discount deal – the more libraries that join, the greater the discount is for everyone:
   • 11-20 libraries: 10% off list price
   • 21-30 libraries: 15% off list price
   • 31-40 libraries: 20% off list price 
   • 41-50 libraries: 25% off list price 
   • …and so on, up to a 45% discount off list price
3. OhioNet has negotiated a central license for this resource and signed on our members’ behalf, saving you negotiating time and effort. No members will be required to sign the license, but any members who require additional amendments to join the group will be accommodated accordingly.
4. OhioNet will build this group until November 30, 2025. At that point, OhioNet will confirm participation and determine the final discounted rate.
