Matthew Mays, Digital Innovation Consultant for SPARCC

As Digital Innovation Consultant for the Stark-Portage Area Computer Consortium (SPARCC) and the Stark County Educational Service Center (ESC), Matthew’s mission is to help interested learners find creative and interesting ways to utilize technology in the classroom and beyond. Since 2022, Matthew has been a co-host for Leading for Learning, which brings together district leaders and statewide educational technology agencies to help break down silos to best support Ohio’s students. Matthew is also a Google Workspace for Education Certified Innovator, Trainer, and Coach who has presented at many conferences including ISTE, OETC, ETLA, OECN, OETC, The Ohio Google Summit, The High Impact Conference for Educators, NEOTech and many more. Finding unique items to teach kids is his specialty – and making them accessible for everyone is what he does best.
