Call for Proposals — Student Success Summit

Event Name: OhioNet Student Success Summit
Event Date: June 9, 2026
OhioNet invites proposals from our members to present at our upcoming Student Success Summit on June 9, 2026. This in-person event, hosted at OhioNet in Westerville, will explore the ways libraries can support students at various stages, affordable resources, and more.
We are looking for individual presentations that highlight the following, or similar, topics:
- The Science of Reading
- Literacy training (reading, information, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)
- Educational partnerships and community collaboration
- Access to equitable resources (content or equipment)
- Outreach to underserved or hard-to-reach communities
- Transitions between schools or life stages
- Lesson plans and program ideas
- Skills assessment
Proposal Guidelines:
- Title of Presentation: A concise and engaging title.
- Abstract: Up to 250 words summarizing the content of your presentation and its relevance to the summit.
- Presenters: Name, title, and affiliation of proposed speaker(s).
- Format(s) of presentation you would be willing to accept as a speaker:
- Panel session participant
- 10-minute lightning round presentation
- 20-minute standalone presentation
- Roundtable discussion participant/facilitator
- Technical Requirements: Any special equipment, set-up, or accessibility needs that we should consider.
Submission Deadline: April 15, 2026
Submission Instructions: Please submit your proposal using this form. Selected speakers will be notified by April 30, 2026. Meals and complimentary registration will be provided to all speakers during the summit. Please note: if there is more than one speaker per proposal, OhioNet can only provide complimentary registration for one of the speakers. Transportation will not be provided.
