Boosting Your Wellbeing in the Workplace

  • Wellbeing
  • Online Workshop

Description

Research shows that workplace wellbeing is an important factor in job performance and in implementing positive change.

This course will introduce the definition of, and importance of, wellbeing in the workplace. It will also introduce small, evidence-based actions that you can take to boost your wellbeing in six areas determined to be essential for us to thrive: positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, accomplishment, and health (PERMAH).

Participants will:

  • Complete the PERMAH Workplace Wellbeing survey administered by the Wellbeing Lab
  • Engage in small group discussion, and
  • Participate in activities that can boost their wellbeing at work and beyond.

Each person will leave this workshop with their own personalized workplace wellbeing plan, and an optional follow-up one-on-one debrief of their personal PERMAH survey results with the class instructor.
