Metadata is key for users to discover and understand digital collections. In this session, participants will learn about metadata standards and best practices.
Presenter Kristen Newby (Ohio History Connection) will define what fields to use, what information to include, and how it should be formatted.
This session will also cover the importance of consistent metadata, especially when considering sharing your collections through tools like the Digital Public Library of America.
