We’re hearing about open access resources more frequently, but what are they exactly?

In this webinar we’ll discuss the copyright status of open access works, how to interpret the Creative Commons licenses we often see associated with them, how to find open access works, and how to advise library patrons on using or even creating them.

Carla Myers Principal Librarian, Coordinator of Scholarly Communication

Carla Myers serves as Principal Librarian, Coordinator of Scholarly Communication for Miami University Libraries. Her professional presentations and publications focus on fair use, copyright in the classroom, and library copyright issues. She has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Akron and a Masters in Library and Information Science from Kent State University.
