Description

ICPSR: A Data Resource for Papers, Projects and More

ICPSR provides leadership and training in data access, curation, and methods of analysis for the social and behavioral sciences research community. ICPSR maintains a data archive of more than 250,000 files of research associated with over 10,500 studies in the social and behavioral sciences. It hosts 25+ specialized collections of data in education, health, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields. ICPSR’s educational activities include the Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research, a comprehensive curriculum of intensive courses in research design, statistics, data analysis, and methodology. ICPSR also leads several initiatives that encourage use of data in teaching, particularly in undergraduate instruction.

Join us for this presentation to learn about the classroom resources, data training, and over 15,000 datasets that are available to you as part of your ICPSR membership. With data on economics, political science, public health and so much more, there is a wealth of information for the people and projects you support! This presentation is open to librarians, students, staff, faculty, and anyone else who is interested in data.
