Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, knowledge of children’s interests and popular culture, proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Experience working with children is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn about books for children of all ages.
Schedule: Work schedule is Monday 12:45pm to 9pm, Tuesday 8am to 5pm on Tuesdays and alternating Fridays (8am to 5pm) and Saturdays (8:30am to 5pm). At this time, this schedule is not flexible but the schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the library.
Euclid Public Library is accepting applications for an energetic and creative person to join the Youth Services team. The successful applicant will be passionate about and committed to providing an exceptional library experience for children. Responsibilities include answering reference questions, preparing and conducting programs for children and families such as storytime for preschoolers and programming for elementary students, and assisting children with the use of computers.
