Consideration will be given to candidates with an Associate's Degree in accounting or 5 years' accounts payable and accounts receivable experience. The candidate must have a knowledge of accounting principles and practices, the ability to be bonded, and advanced skill in the UAN system. The candidate must have a strong attention to detail, the ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy, and the ability to resolve complex problems appropriately.
This position oversees the financial activities of the Library including being responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable; verifying, dispersing and reconciling purchase orders; collecting, recording and reconciling daily cash receipts; depositing daily cash receipts according to protocol; signing purchase orders, contracts and bank documents; managing investments and working with the Board and Director to maintain the financial health of the Library.
