Student Success Librarian

Join a team of exceptional individuals who care about the success of the students they work with. The Student Success Librarian coordinates library instruction in the English composition program, first year seminars, high-school outreach, and other subjects by designing and teaching coursework in consultation with faculty and student success employees. The position liaisons with the Division of Student Success, including the Writing Center and other student success initiatives on campus through targeted communication and participation in student orientations and student outreach activities.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of design and delivery of information literacy instruction, particularly for those in the first two years of college.

A.L.A. accredited M.L.S./M.L.I.S. by hire date
Two years library experience (can include student or graduate student employment, internships or practicums).
Demonstrated knowledge of design and delivery of information literacy instruction, particularly for those in the first two years of college.
Ability to establish relationships and work effectively with colleagues, students, faculty, and staff across campus.
Ability to plan, design, implement, and assess services and programs.

Demonstrated experience creating online instructional modules or experience with software such as Camtasia, Adobe Articulate, etc.
Previous experience providing library instruction, particularly for students in their first two years of college.
Previous experience or degree in education or related programs.
