New in-person workshop: Bias and Micro Messages on 3/23

The return of in-person training at OhioNet continues! We’ve just added a new in-depth workshop with SHIFT Consulting from the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio to the calendar for Wednesday, 3/22 at our new office location on Polaris Parkway. Attendees of the Bias and Micro Messages workshop will learn how their own identities shape their experiences and impact their interactions with others, as well as explore strategies for minimizing the effects of bias. Participants will also examine the concept of micro-messages, alongside strategies for addressing micro-inequities and tips for communicating micro-affirmations. Our in-person session will be followed by a bonus, online module on 4/17.

Additional details and links to register for this event, and many more, can be found on our Training Page.
