Unlimited Possibilities: Program Evaluation Overview

Program evaluation is one of the new consulting services available from Unlimited Possibilities, powered by OhioNet. There are many reasons why your organization may need to evaluate. Maybe program evaluation is a requirement from your parent institution or grant funder, or you may want to assess a specific area to identify potential improvements. Whatever the reason, OhioNet is here to partner with you to design and conduct an evaluation that meets your needs.

Our program evaluation service is scalable from your entire library, to an individual department, or to a specific project or program. We are able to assess at any stage: from needs assessment prior to launch, to a first-year implementation review, or to an in-depth look at the effectiveness of an established program. Our team will work with you to identify existing information to include for review along with identifying what information is missing.

Our consulting philosophy is grounded in inclusive practices and focuses on possibilities. We will apply our knowledge of appreciative inquiry and human-centered design while working with you to design survey or interview questions. Finally, our team is comfortable using a wide variety of criteria and standards to assess programs. This includes locally created, pre-existing criteria already in use by your institution or something like the Standard for Libraries in Higher Education from ACRL.

You can learn a bit more about our program evaluation services by watching this 20-minute video from our recent info session. If your library is interested in assistance with program evaluation, contact Michelle Bradley, Director of Consulting Services at [email protected], or fill out the online information request form here. Interested in our other consulting offerings?
